Bryce Dallas Howard, who plays the evil vampire Victoria in the third Twilight movie, Eclipse, says she and her co-stars trained with running specialists to ensure the action sequences looked best on film.

“I arrived in Vancouver and they put me on a treadmill,” she joked. “Actually, they had trainers for us that specialized in running, in helping us just get as fast as possible with the least amount of effort so that we could do the takes over and over and over again.”

“And then they created contraptions and whatnot to make it appear as if we were running not seven miles an hour but rather 45 miles an hour, which was very cool,” Howard, daughter of director and former child star Ron Howard, told George Pennacchio of KABC Television, OnTheRedCarpet.com’s parent company.
