Our girl hit up the Los Angeles premiere of “Ceremony” at ArcLight Cinemas on March 22. She wore a pale pink and gold accented dress, sparkling-gold bangle bracelets and pale pink satin pumps and looked gorgeous! I have uploaded 50+ pictures from the event here (including many HQs) – enjoy the new eye candy!
They are both famed for their sexy curves and distinctive red hair. So it was only a matter of time before Bryce Dallas Howard was compared with Mad Men siren Joan Holloway.
And in a new advertising campaign for Kate Spade, the 30-year-old actress looked like she’d just stepped off the set of the hit television series.
The images, shot by top fashion photographer Ellen von Unwerth on the streets of SoHo, New York, show the star posing in retro-inspired clothing with her hair in a Sixties-style beehive.
It is the first celebrity campaign for Kate Spade, who usually casts professional models in her ads.
Ms Howard, who is the daughter of director Ron Howard said she had long been a fan of the label.
She said: ‘I am genuinely a fan of Kate Spade. The day I found out about being in the ads a box of Kate Spade dishes that I had ordered completely on my own arrived at my door.
‘I have been a rabid fan of the brand for a long time. It’s such a natural expression of femininity. I aspire to be a Kate Spade girl.’
The campaign shows Kate Spade’s spring/summer collection which takes its style lead from the Fifties and Sixties. (… Read more…)

Clint Eastwood’s movie Hereafter has been yanked from theaters in Japan after Friday’s disaster rendered some movie scenes as “inappropriate at this time.”
ContactMusic reports that though Japanese films are often rampant with death themes, footage depicting a tsunami were thought to be too disturbing for Japanese viewers.
Starring Matt Damon (Good Will Hunting, The Departed), Cecile De France (High Tension), and Bryce Dallas Howard (Spider-Man 3, Terminator Salvation) — the movie is based on the experiences of 3 people whose lives are each touched by death. (Source)
To celebrate the first celebrity face for her brand, Kate Spade threw a fun and colorful lunch on Friday for actress Bryce Dallas Howard who is starring in the spring ad campaign for Spade’s accessories collection.
Set under a tented area at the Chateau Marmont, guests gathered at a long banquet table appropriately set with a bubblegum pink table runner and no shortage of pink peonies and scattered gold confetti.
“I am genuinely a fan of Kate Spade. The day I found out about being in the ads a box of Kate Spade dishes that I had ordered completely on my own arrived at my door. I have been a rabid fan of the brand for a long time,” said Howard who looked 1960s ladylike in a green-and-white Kate Spade Fleur dress, which drew a nice contrast to her crimson red hair. “It’s such a natural expression of femininity. I aspire to be a Kate Spade girl.”
Apparently, so do a lot of other guests who showed up in acid brights such as lime green, lemon yellow, tangerine and coral, many with their Kate Spade bags, the most eye-catching being the Scout bag in a vivid watermelon pink.
Other celebs included Mandy Moore and Anna Kendrick, who with their porcelain skin and ladylike ensembles added to the girly feeling of the afternoon. Source
Pictures are coming soon, for now you can see one here at the source!
Another promotional Kate Spade video has appeared, this time called Bryce’s take on yellow. You can watch it here or check out the captures I made in the gallery. Thanks to VG for informing me about this!
I have finally uploaded some HQs from the Forevermark hosted private dinner to honor Michelle Williams as well as another new Kate Spade ad and a scan from the August 2004 issue of People. Remember, if there’s anything in particular you’d like to see on the site be sure to contact me or leave a comment! Thank you! :)
Exclusive: With all the Oscar stories and people swirling around this weekend, I did run into one of my favorite people, Bryce Dallas Howard, the talented and beautiful daughter of director Ron Howard. Coincidentally I’d seen Ron at lunch one day last week at the Grill on the Alley in Beverly Hills. But Ron–who’s prepping Stephen King’s “The Dark Tower,” didn’t tell me Bryce’s news; she did. Bryce is getting ready to direct her first feature and follow in her dad’s steps.
The film, called “The Originals”, was written with her writing partner Dane Charbonneau. Previous reports suggested Ron might direct the film but they were inaccurate.
Bryce told me: “It’s like a “Breakfast Club” for my generation.” Bryce turns 30 next week, so she’ll be inviting some actors her age to be in the film which, of course, will be distributed by Imagine/Universal. Any actors in mind? “So far, I wrote a part for Zoe Saldana. But there are so many good choices out there.” (Source)
Fabulous news, I can’t wait for more information! :)
